Interior Decorating with Erin
From layout and flow to fabrics, finishes, and finishing touches, Erin's approach starts with how you actually live. The result is a home that feels considered, comfortable, and unmistakably yours.
How We'll Work Together
Every home and every budget is different, so the process flexes. But this is the path most projects follow, from the first conversation to the day everything is in place.
1. Listen & Learn
We start with a conversation about you. Your style, what you love, what isn't working, how you actually use the space, and what you're hoping to accomplish. We'll talk budget early and honestly, and we'll decide together which areas to prioritize. Some homes need everything. Others need three things done well. Knowing which one we're doing keeps your time and your money where they'll make the biggest difference.

2. Tour & Measure
Seeing your home tells me things a photo never will. We'll walk the spaces we're decorating, talk about what you'd like to keep and what you'd like to change, and I'll take detailed measurements while I'm there. Layout, traffic flow, and furniture scale are where most furniture mistakes get made, so this is the step that quietly decides whether a room just looks good or actually lives well.
3. Create the Design Plan
This is where it takes shape. We'll pull together furniture, fabrics, colors, textures, rugs, lighting, and accessories into one cohesive direction, drawing on the brands and collections in our Flagstaff showroom. When it's helpful, I'll put together a rendering so you can picture the finished space before anything is ordered.

4. Refine & Select
We'll review everything together and adjust until it feels right. This part is collaborative on purpose. I want you confident and genuinely excited about what we've chosen, not just agreeable.
5. Bring It Home
Once selections are final, we coordinate ordering and delivery. Our team places and assembles every piece, and I'll help with the finishing touches so the space feels complete. And so it feels like you.

Erin Irwin is a Certified Interior Decorator with an MBA and a background that spans real estate, home staging, and furniture sales. That mix shapes how she works. She notices how a room flows, how furniture fits a space, and how the right colors, textures, and finishes change the way a room feels to be in.
Her real estate experience adds a practical layer most decorators do not have. She knows which updates make a home feel more inviting and functional, and which ones hold their value over time, whether you are getting ready to sell or simply want to make thoughtful changes to a home you plan to stay in.
Erin's approach is not about chasing trends or making your home look like a magazine spread. It starts with what you like, what you need, and how you want your home to feel, then brings those pieces together in a way that feels natural and intentional. Start with a one-on-one meeting with Jenna, our interior designer, at our Flagstaff showroom. We'll assess your needs, take measurements, and capture photos to build an accurate, personalized design plan from the ground up.
2. Measure, Design & Plan
Through close collaboration, Jenna develops a detailed design plan tailored to your home, including precise measurements, a 3D rendering of your space, and a full visual presentation so you can see your vision come to life before any final decisions are made.
3. Interior Design Services
Design From furniture and décor to layouts and finishes, we guide you through every selection with style, function, and quality in mind. The goal is simple: a home that looks exactly how you imagined it, without the stress of figuring it out alone.
4. Delivery & Staging
When your selections are ready, our warehouse and delivery team coordinates directly with Jenna to place, assemble, and stage every piece, so your space arrives finished, styled, and ready to enjoy from day one.

With a B.S. in Interior Design and a Business minor from Northern Arizona University, Jenna brings both creativity and professionalism to every project in Flagstaff and beyond.
Since joining Designs West Home in 2022, she has designed everything from local remodels and custom homes to larger-scale projects, helping Northern Arizona homeowners transform their spaces with style, intention, and function.
